If you’re like us, you have probably wondered at times about Africa, and her needs have touched your heart. You may have read an article or seen stirring images of her plight. And like us, you may have also wrestled with how to help. Well, we’d like to offer you an opportunity to join in what God is doing in Africa.
First, we ask that you join us in prayer. Pray that God would continue the work He is doing through the Powerhouse and other local churches to serve the sick and the poor, and pray that He would use us as his servants to increase that work.
Second, please consider joining us and Africa Revolution as there are many needs to be met. Check out AR’s Projects page for a list of tangible ways to donate items or give money towards specific needs.
Participate As A Partner
If you are considering supporting our work, we ask you to consider supporting Africa Revolution as we focus on various projects at the Powerhouse Church. Visit AR’s Partnership Projects listing for a laundry list of immediate needs as well as ongoing projects. As you’ll see, there are many ways—from helping build the church’s Sunday School classroom to sponsoring a student to replacing the worship team’s drum set—to join in our work!
Personal Support Needs and Instructions for Giving
The Lord has generously provided for our personal financial needs this year. However, we are asking that our monthly supporters fulfill their pledge of support through August 2009.
For calendar year 2009 tax-deductible contributions to help us continue to have an ample supply of funds toward special projects at the Powerhouse, please send a check payable to “Africa Revolution” and indicate that it is for “Nathan & Rebecca Clendenin” in the memo line.
