About The Authors
Nathan Clendenin met Rebecca Folmar in 2004 when he was interviewing for grad school at UNC-Chapel Hill. They married May 27, 2006, in Chapel Hill , now reside in Durham and both recently resigned from their jobs in Raleigh, NC, to pursue a calling to serve in South Africa. Nathan is the former multimedia producer for the website of a local TV station, WRAL.com ; and Rebecca is the former director of communications for Action for Children North Carolina , a statewide nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth in North Carolina. Both are graduates of UNC-Chapel Hill’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication graduate program.
